This is one of my all-time favorite movie scores. I listen to it regularly. And this is my favorite track. The orchestra has a very bright, almost jangly sort of sound, which is perfect for this film.

I have considered whenever I get married that I may call for
Kitchen/The Orgy
to be played at the reception and just not tell anybody what it’s called...

This soundtrack was amazing, especially considering the movie it was attached to (which is amazing for different reasons). It certainly influenced many other film scores that followed it...
For a ridiculous juxtaposition...my other favourite soundtrack from this era is the much maligned but still weirdly entertaining ‘ Ladyhawke’.
